Gregory Blasko

President of Greg R. Blasko, CPA, PC a professional corporation specializing in individual, business, trust and estate Federal income tax matters.

Greg has been licensed in the State of Texas as a Certified Public Accountant since 1981. He previously was a Tax Manager at the international accounting firm of Arthur Andersen and Company.

He received his Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Texas, Austin, receiving the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence; his Bachelor of Science in Theoretical Mathematics from the University of Houston and his Teaching Certification from Texas Southern University.

His work history includes Research Assistant in the Department of Neurophysiology at Baylor College of Medicine, High School Mathematics and Spanish teacher in the Houston ISD, Instructor in the Mathematics Department of the University of Texas, Austin, before obtaining his CPA.

Greg has lived in Hill Country Village since 1981 and has raised his three children, Sean, Chris & Denise in the same house at 205 Hill Country Lane. He attended San Jose and St. Lawrence elementary schools and La Salle and McCollum High Schools here in San Antonio.

He has been an active member of the HCV Zoning Commission, serving many years as Chairman; a member of the EDC; a current Place 4 member of the HCV City Council.

Greg formed a Texas not for profit entity, Accountants Without Borders/Comptables Sans Frontieres, which provides free of charge accounting services to charitable entities in foreign Countries. To date, free accounting services have been provided in India, Sri Lanka and Zambia.

Greg’s hobbies include traveling, fishing, gardening, playing guitar, and of course his 4 grandchildren.
